7 Big Bang Drabbles
Pairings: Top/Daesung, GD/Seungri, GD/Taeyang, GD/Top
Rating: G to Rish
Disclaimer: In no way do I claim the following is/has/will happen. This is only fiction written for fun.
Summary: Korean hip pop stars makin' love and bein' angsty.
A/N: Yes...I do love Big Bang now. Did some of that iTunes meme (play songs on random, write for the length of the song) to get back in the swing of things. I only cheated and pressed repeat twice...
陶喆 – 2night藏愛
Seunghyun’s always been the lingering, sensual type, but now, with the injury, he moves almost torturously slow.
“Hyung,” Daesung says, gently, because Seunghyun can’t even pretend he doesn’t like to be called that. “I know we said we would take it easy, but, um, it’s almost been an hour and…”
Seunghyun pulls away from Daesung’s neck and looks him (that completely focused look that always knocks him off balance).
“I’m just saying you don’t have to worry about me, okay? I promise I really feel up to it,” he explains, offering what he hopes is a relaxed smile.
Seunghyun laughs a little under his breath, looking to the side.
“Actually I’m just being selfish because I missed it,” he admits.
Then Daesung laughs too, wrapping his arms around Seunghyun’s shoulders.
“As you were, then.”
The Cardigans – Junk of the Hearts
Jiyong promised that he wouldn’t make a move. It was just a little thing, not a full-blown crush. He just liked the way Seungri danced, the way he looked when he was concentrating, liked it when Seungri acted like a brat while begging for approval with his eyes. It’s not like he was in love with the kid, Jiyong promised.
Youngbae believed that lie for a little while, but then the games started; cat and mouse games, teasing games, baiting and fighting games, dangerous games.
Jiyong promised that it wouldn’t be awkward. It’s not like they were getting married or something, they were just fucking around a little bit. Friends could do that. Big Bang was the most important thing, Jiyong’s top priority and Seungri’s top priority and they wouldn’t forget that.
Youngbae never believed that lie for a second.
Janet Jackson – Got ‘Til It’s Gone (I cheated and listened to it twice, but hey I’m honest!)
Jiyong only went to church with Youngbae once. They were seventeen and girls were starting to recognize them at the convenience store. Jiyong laughed to see some of the same faces sitting in the pews that Sunday. He tried to point this out to Youngbae and got only a shake of the head and a gentle nudge in the side.
Oh, right. Jesus and stuff.
Jiyong wasn’t exactly religious, but he had respect for Youngbae’s faith. So, he tried to give it a shot. He sat quietly and listened to the sermon, bowed his head at the right times, glancing at his friend to see concentration in his face.
If nothing else, Jiyong had to admit it was nice to have some peaceful time in the middle of the mess.
Except, when Youngbae accepted the minister’s invitation to lead them in song, the calm was replaced with a sudden sting,
Because it was beautiful,
Because it had soul,
Because Youngbae was beautiful and Youngbae had soul,
And Jiyong could never have Youngbae.
That was something Jiyong understood even before he knew Youngbae was what he wanted, but being here, in Youngbae’s world, only reminded him of all the reasons why.
“What’d you think?” Youngbae asked on the way home, trying to seem casual.
“Pretty cool, I guess,” Jiyong answered, shrugging. “I liked the music.”
“Think you’ll come again next Sunday?”
Jiyong got caught stealing a look at Youngbae then, and, looking him in the eyes, couldn’t lie.
“I’m sorry,” he said, heat creeping up the back of his neck.
Youngbae nodded slowly and linked his arm with Jiyong’s as the turned the corner.
“I’m sorry, too."
Bright Eyes – The Calendar Hung Itself
“God, you’re listening to that emo shit again.”
Seunghyun snatches back his headphones, rolling his eyes at Jiyong’s disgust.
“It’s my thinking music,” he grumbles.
“Who are you thinking about?”
Seunghyun looks away from his writing to where Jiyong is now sprawled out on his bed.
“No one,” he answers.
“Liar,” Jiyong says, grinning up at Seunghyun’s ceiling.
“I listen to this when I’m working on the movie,” Seunghyun explains. “It helps.”
Jiyong rolls on his stomach and pouts at Seunghyun, studying his face.
“I’m going to figure you out someday,” he says.
Seunghyun really hopes he doesn’t.
Placebo – Second Sight
More than anything, Jiyong hates how it looks in hindsight; the self-centered queen falling for the young, cocky heartbreaker. At the time, it seemed like so much more than that.
大嘴巴 - 我就是喜歡你
Daesung says they should just enjoy it while it’s still cute. Youngbae says he doesn’t know what’s so cute about risking everything they’ve worked so hard for, but there’s no bite behind his words. Seunghyun knows Youngbae can’t bring himself to be that angry with Jiyong.
Seunghyun has to agree with Daesung on this one; all they can really do right now is sit back and at least try to be amused. There is something strangely energizing about having gossip in the apartment, and Jiyong and Seungri’s pathetic attempts at hiding their relationship are pretty hilarious. No one wants to be the first to admit that the two of them are not fooling anyone, and, even if someone does, how could they possibly convince the two most stubborn members of the group to quit while they’re ahead?
This thing is going to play out however it does. Seunghyun only hopes he can be as optimistic as Daesung.
Outsider – Alone (cheated again)
Jiyong makes love like the world is about to end. Everything else about his life is so dramatic, Seunghyun shouldn’t be surprised that this is any different. It’s all he can do to keep up with Jiyong’s pace, Jiyong’s bruising kisses, Jiyong’s urgent gasps hidden under a hand clapped over his mouth because they could hear and what are we going to say if they do?
The album, the hair, the clothes, the attention changed him. When Seunghyun said he was worried, Jiyong brushed it off. Seunghyun heard the words that Jiyong didn’t say: “This is something beyond you.”
It is beyond him, still. The others understand it, but he has to be told.
(Kohl brings out your eyes
You don’t have the face for that kind of hair
This is how a suit should fit
These are the colors that match
This is a kick ball change
This is how you walk it out
Just let us worry about these things
You’re a natural)
Seunghyun doesn’t know why he accepts Jiyong so easily, maybe he thinks he can absorb G-Dragon through his skin, maybe part of it is pity, or maybe he’s always wanted Jiyong this way.
Seunghyun doesn’t understand himself, but he gets Jiyong. He knows what Jiyong wants and it’s easy to give.
