When Ohno has his second exhibit, there are more paintings than sculptures. The subject matter is still similar; a lot of hip-hop culture mixed in with caricatures of his friends. Arashi gets to do a walk through before it’s open to the fans, but, of course, Ohno manages to disappear as they look through his work. Matsujun walks back and forth along a wall of graffiti art. Aiba suppresses giggles as Sho tries to explain what “the artist” was trying to convey through a six-foot canvas of a robot walking into the ocean. Nino finds himself frozen in front of one small oil painting; one that doesn’t seem to fit with the rest of the collection. It’s a painting of a messy kitchen, dishes piled in the sink and illegible post-it notes littering the refrigerator. Nino seeks out all the little details and wonders if anyone will notice the deck of cards hidden in the shadow of an open take-out box.

Eventually, Sho manages to locate Ohno, and drags him into the gallery demanding a detailed explanation on his “process,” which results in Ohno mumbling about how he likes robots and he likes the ocean. Having satisfied Sho’s curiosity, Ohno catches Nino’s eye and joins him at the painting. They look at it together for a moment, quiet, until Ohno finally mumbles,

“I wanted to share it with everyone.”

Nino reaches out and squeezes Ohno’s hand.

“The one of Jun with the caterpillar eyebrows is still my favorite,” Nino admits.

Jun’s voice booms from the adjoining hallway, right on cue:

“WHAT IS THIS?”
